Advocacy Alerts
The NCAOA
Advocacy Alerts section will address federal and state issues
of legislation and rulemaking. Telephone calls, letters and
e-mails do make a difference. Numbers count. It is important
for professionals in the aging network and for senior citizens
to contact legislators. When contacting
legislators, keep conversations and correspondence brief and
concise. In written communication, bulleted information is
easier to read than paragraphs. NCAOA Members will receive
more time sensitive alerts via the NCAOA
